The Lay of the Land in Cinder Basin Country. World-class recreation for Top-Gun game programmers from Stargate. This is a portion of the quantum recreational game park at the woodshedaz. In the “Alpine high camp” areas (about 9,000 feet above sea level), several miles into the dynamic volcanic Cinder basins and high up from the street level base camp settings, is pristine Ponderosa pine in black cinder settings. These camps are only a ten minute ride down the Eastern side of the Cinder basins highest ridgelines, to TheWoodShedAZ! Timber Lodge Guest Ranch facilities and campgrounds at 6,000 feet elevation. |
The upper Cinder basin areas of this vast ATV and recreational park area is packed with week end get-a-way revelers who participate in various extreme ATV rides up and around the expansive Cinder basin hills and valleys throughout this area at about 8,000 feet elevation. These areas drop down a thousand feet to two thousand feet from the high camp areas. |

Pictured above are examples of the ATV base camp action in this area of the parks. These areas are about fifteen to twenty minutes from TheWoodShedAZ!™ Timber Lodge Guest Ranch and deluxe camp grounds at 6,000 feet elevation, approximately 1 mile due West of Merriam Crater, where guests can enjoy a hot tub in a large deluxe Sundance spa on elevated massive party, viewing and entertainment decks with 80 mile panoramic views into the Navaho and Hopi lands. From the mid level altitudes in the Cinder Basins the parks drop another thousand feet into a vast Cinder Basin bowl of volcanic cinders covered with Ponderosa Pines. ATV enthusiasts enjoy a massive space of recreational wonderland that is difficult to describe other than “this place is a blast on the summer time holiday season, you have to go do this!” Pictured below at this level of the park are people and their kids and friends enjoying the holidays at the lower levels of the Cinder Basin parks. There are all manner of xtreme ATV, dirt bike and Dune Burner vehicles. The WoodShedAZ!™ Timber Lodge Guest Ranch with its deluxe campgrounds is approximately 30 minutes in through the Cinder Basin arenas from the base camp zone off 89-A at these locations. |
