•Meditative early am, Solar Therapy. The slow wake up: At early sunrise, before and just as the sun comes over Merriam Crater, there is two hours of soft sunlight between 4:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
• Timing: The sun blazes over the top of the crater at 6:30 a.m. This is the brief time when a person can look straight into the direct energy of sunlight prior to the suns’ light, becoming too intense.
