O.U.R. – Leave a Legacy platform, is an established endeavor, with a State of Arizona wide, demonstration of a series of productive neighborhood installed, aesthetically pleasing, high energy “edible gardens and high alpine ranch land” as a ecology experiment station. With the higher altitude location, we may generate higher ground headwaters and springs where they are not, in order to fully engage the HYDROLOGIC CYCLE CONNECTION back on to the earth, from which it has been taken apart from. These Riparian zones and high alpine desert ranchland projects are in different sites, visible and able to be visited and are in, various stages of development and make up the Outdoor University Reforestation (O.U.R.). The rapid growth of O.U.R., effectively alleviates the imbalance of CO2 emissions and human created carbon based footprints, on this planet. We must enthusiastically fund O.U.R., via not for profit and for profit endeavors. |

These Riparian zones (O.U.R. ‘edible gardens’, some of which are in the middle of severe metropolitan desert heat sinks) produce marked increases in oxygen and water sequestration in the dry desert municipally based environments and cool the atmosphere by as much as 23 degrees from searing summer desert heat. The first “edible garden” established by DL Thompson, the founder of the Outdoor University Reforestation platform has as many as 2,000 different varieties of pure organic water fed food fuels for people to see, experience the air and eat the food from the gardens (fresh off the vines).
