National Monuments, parks and The City of Flagstaff proper. To the East, 14 miles from the ATV park is Wapatki National Monument and the vast panoramic views on the drive east into the Painted Desert. See 800 year old Anasazi ruins and learn about the ancient tribal cultures. To the South of the ATV Park through Flagstaff only minutes out of town, another National Monument of high merit; the Walnut Canyon National Monument, an entire Ancient Indian village preserved for visitation by the National Parks System. These parks are closed in the winter months, but again this adventure trip is fabulous during any time of the year because of the excellent location of TheWoodShedAZ!™ Timber-lodge and its unique, personalized services into this pristine high desert ATV, recreational wonderland. Horses and their riders are not restricted from any seasonal changes.
