We are writing to you to join us in The Making of the S.O.S.-I.E.V. ™  Please refer to the John McCain letter regarding the growing crisis of Global Warming.

We are working along with hundreds of thousands of other concerned citizens in the important efforts that are being conducted by many people from all walks of life, to conduct positive action, to reverse the negative trends from heat-trapping emissions and other elements causing Global Warming.  The Making of the S.O.S.-I.E.V.™ (Sustainable Organized Systemic - Intentional Energy Village), has been set into motion, to set an example of how we can make a strong impact in these efforts, to Balance Our Carbon Footprint.

Massive industrialization and ignorance in the management of our environment, has caused Global Warming, and the negative impact of heat-trapping emissions along with the mismanagement of our water-air-tree systems in the world.  These are the most disturbing and important environmental issues of our time in history.  An entire history of various man-made developments based on greed has brought the world to the point it is at today, in a state of utter chaos.

That’s why, through our efforts in The Making of the S.O.S.-I.E.V.™ at TheWoodShedAZ!™ we are in perfect alignment with the McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship and Innovation Act, which is the best U.S. policy option to address global warming today.  The State of Arizona used to be a primal forest with lush river tributaries and lagoons.  Here’s the story and the research.  Enjoy!

The State of Arizona, at one point fostered the delta of the Colorado River.  There were an abundance of quail, geese, beaver and even the great Grizzly Bear, supported by lush primeval forest lands that could support large river driven fisheries and all manner of fruited plants.  In writing about the Colorado River, Author Thomas E. Sheridan, from the book, The Natural History of the Sonoran Desert wrote in the first page of the Chapter entitled Human Ecology of the Sonoran Desert, on page 105,

“but in fact the river was nowhere and everywhere, for he could not decide which of a hundred green lagoons offered the most pleasant and least speedy path to the Gulf.  So he traveled them all and so did we.   He divided and rejoined, he twisted and turned, he meandered in awesome jungles, he all but ran in circles, he dallied with lovely groves, he got lost and was glad of it, and so were we.  For the last word in procrastination, go travel with a river reluctant to lose his freedom in the sea.”
